Blog Candy Giveaway!

OOOH Candy!!! I am very late in doing this - I have been meaning to for ages!

Now that my blog has passed it's anniversary, and 15,000 hits, I thought it would be nice to do this. I've not put the candy package together yet but it will be easy to do!

It will include:
  • Papers
  • Ribbon
  • Buttons
  • Brads
  • Stamped Images
  • Flowers
So what do you need to do to enter? NOTHING (much!) - Please just post me a message below to say hello, and add a post to your own blog to mention this candy. I'll use one of the random things online to choose a winner a week tomorrow - THURSDAY 4TH DECEMBER.
THIS POST WILL STAY AT THE TOP UNTIL THEN!

Kilt Pin Brooch

This is the second one of these I've made - quite easy - this one is for a work colleague. I'm totally loving pearl beads at the moment - can't get enough of them!!

Now for the rules for this award .......... The winner may put the logo on their blog. Put a link to the person who sent you the award. Nominate 5 blogs and put links to their blogs and leave a message for your nominees.

Lucite flowers again

And another pair.

Playing with Lucite

Something a bit different for me on the jewellery front - yes, I know these are earrings again - but apart from the crystal and rocalles these are made from Lucite. I'm loving the little flowers and how you can combine different flowers to make larger ones. I know these wont be everyones cup of tea but they are fun to make. I especially like these pink ones which are quite like fushia. Last pic is a memory wire bracelet made up of a wee mix of beads - anything goes!

Altered Tin

This is a little provocraft tin which I have had for ages - just had a thought today that I should decorate it in some way - used papers from Basic Grey, some Queen and Co Felt Fusion and spare bits of ribbon, flowers and bling. Also gave the crop-a-dile a chance to prove if it can cut through tin easily - and yes, it does, like butter!

glass heart earrings

I was stuck for inspiration today so I made these to match the purple and green top I'm wearing!

fiddly!

This little guy might turn out to be a one off - how fiddly!! Didn't have any tutorial for this one just thought I would give it a go. I'm going to leave it's partner until another night because if I drop another bead or wire tonight there might be a bead explosion!!

Monday, November 10, 2008

Last pair for tonight I think! These are addictive! I think I might go and browse some online beadshops - see if I can pick up any ideas!!

More drop earrings

These bead mixes are so inspirational! I just wish I could venture further than my safety zone of earrings!!

Wireless Hoop Earrings

My first attempt at wireless hoop earrings and I have to say I'm quite pleased with the results.
I used Beadalon - Bright - .015" (.38mm) wire then used a mix of Czech pressed glass beads from JillyBeads. I've added a couple of silver spacer beads to finish off. The whole thing is held together by a crimp bead. Tooles used: a side cutter and chain nose pliers.

Dunno Ducky!

Last one of these for a wee while I think!!

Another Post It Note holder

These little things are so easy to make! I had this stamped image and I was going to do a card but I just couldn't get the layout right. The stamp is Penny Black Gossamer - coloured with Copics.

PIF Candy

I've been thinking about this for a while.. and not done anything about it! But it really is time I did a PIF Candy! I was thinking I could include some papers, stamps, images, embellishments and die cuts.. now I need to think about a challenge! I will get my thinking cap on and post one soon!

Little Missy - High Hopes

Another little cutie that is really easy to colour. Papers are HOTP again (now that I have found the pad I think I will try and use it as it's not gummed very well and all the pages are falling out!!
I've just looked around me to see what a mess I have made. I need to stop now and tidy up! Oh dear.. there is paper everywhere. I think it is possible to have toooooo much stuff!!

Ballet Brielle by Whippersnapper

I think this has to be one of my favourite stamps! The papers on this card are Hot Off The Press. I've also used some doodlebug paper frills and prima flowers.
The vellum is held in place with a brad and a snap - it should have been two snaps but I punched the wrong size hole (doh!). This is the first time I've used snaps - fiddly wee things!! I nearly broke my cropadile by using it the wrong way and a snap got stuck on. (Yes, I should have read the instructions first..... yeah yeah!! I fixed it (whew!)

Cheery!

I love these stamps - they are so easy to colour and so cheery!
I've used Basic Grey Obscure buttons for the flower centres - just for a change!

more jewellery for the charity sale

From a pile of beads... it's amazing what you can do, and how quickly you can do it! Here are another 3 pairs of earrings and a necklace for the Children In Need sale at work next Friday. The earrings were so easy to make. The necklace took about 40 mins. It probably took longer to choose the beads!!
I just hope people like them and want to buy them. I have no idea how much to charge - all the beads are good quality and all the crystals are swarovski.

Hoppy Birthday!

Penny Black "Toadily Yours". Nice and bright!
Papers are from daisy d - the cardstock stack - lovely colours!

More inspirational blogs!

I found these amazing blogs when I was having a wee look round!

Jewellery

Some jewellery to sell at work next Friday - for Children In Need. I have no idea what to ask for these. I'll make some more, and more little note books and post it note holders, and some cards and some tablet! (Yummy!)

Murphy

The newest member of the family. This is Murphy. He's quite shy during the day. It was difficult to get this picture of him as he thought the camera was something to either eat or play with! He's only one and a half so thats allowed!

Its a girl

I love this little stork image from High Hopes - its so nice to colour in!
I'm not sure about this card - its A5 - not my normal shape.

Post it Note Holder using Bind It All

Thought I would try and make another post it note holder but this time make it a bit more substantial - used the Bind It All. Two sheets of artists mount board cut to 3.5" x 4", covered, then fastened using 6 holes and size 1/2" wires. Works a treat and would really be reusable. A wee bit embellishment on the front and some gold ink brushed round the edges. Really really simple!

Flowers for You!

This little guy is popular this week! Another outing for a get well card.
